a glimpse now. the whole story below.
The problem
A catalog that lived
behind the counter.
Wholesale jewelry means hundreds of references, each with its own sizes, clasps and weights. Buyers had to see the pieces to order them, and the designs themselves were the workshop's most valuable asset.
What the app had to answer
Five questions every buyer asks.
Who sees which catalog?
Public, invited buyers only, or the owner. Admins see everything.
Does it fit?
Six jewelry types, each with its own fields: size for rings and bracelets, clasp for necklaces.
Ordering without a price tag.
Orders carry quantity, size and clasp. Prices stay off the screen.
In my language.
English, French and Arabic, with the whole layout mirrored for right-to-left.
Can my designs leak?
Customers can't screenshot or screen-record the catalog. Staff still can, for support.
The design direction
Black velvet.
Gold light.
A jeweller lays gold on dark velvet so the metal does the talking. The app does the same: a near-black interface, one gold accent, and white tiles so every product photo reads true.

Behind the app
The app grew
a factory floor.
Once orders arrived in the app, the workshop needed to see where each one was. I built a production portal: every order walks from customer service to the boss, through wax or resin printing, quality and packing, and the buyer's app updates at each step.

languages, one RTL- Live everywhere. Socket.IO and push notifications refresh catalogs and orders the moment they change.
- One shop tablet. Staff open a customer's account on the counter tablet to order with them, face to face.
- Morocco time, always. Every date shows in the workshop's time zone, whatever the phone says.
- Locked down. One phone per customer account, new phones need approval, and release builds are shrunk and obfuscated.
